Kiffmeyer Inc. was started in 1984 by two brothers, Kenneth and Donald Kiffmeyer. They put their 20 years of skills, loyalty, and leadership together to form the company. With Ron Patton as Estimator, Kenny ran the masonry crew, while Don ran the concrete crew. In 1995, Ron's unfortunate passing brought Gregg Johnson from the field work into the office to take over the the estimating and office management. Each year the company grew taking on more jobs, more employees and increasing the services Kiffmeyer could supply to it's customers. Don's retirement in 2001 allowed five employees that had been working with the company for many years to share their own skills and continue the excellence that Kiffmeyer, Inc provides. The privately held company is currently owned by Gregg Johnson, Kurt Kiffmeyer, Ken VonDeLinde, Paul Roberts, Paul Ackerman, and Rocky Benoit. Kenny is still President and active in running the masonry crews.

Kiffmeyer is a Union concrete and masonry contractor for the benefit of our employees as well as our customers. The different types of union affiliations are Bricklayers, Cement finishers, 49'ers, Laborers, and Carpenters. Kiffmeyer specializes in masonry construction consisting of concrete blocks, pre colored block, brick, stone, and cultured stone. Concrete work includes footings, poured foundations, sidewalks, and stamped or colored concrete. Some of the bigger past projects include: Best Buy Stores, Cub Foods Stores, Abra Auto Body, Tires Plus, Discount Tire Stores, Foss Swim School in Maple Grove, Osseo/Brooklyn Park Bus Garage, Numerous Office/Warehouse buildings, and Mulit-Housing and Senior Housing Residencies such as Realife and Gramercy Cooperatives.
